I named this fanlisting Timeless Humor because Melissa has done nothing but make me laugh since I started watching her as Barbra Jean on Reba. She, herself, has stated that she is happiest
when she can make someone laugh.
Melissa is a Minnesota native born on July 1, 1970, raised in Minneapolis. She attended Minnesota State University as a theater major. Upon graduation she performed in theaters and made her film debut in 1996 in a movie called
Fargo. In 2001, she landed her most famous role so far, as Barbra Jean Booker Hart, on the hit tv sitcom, Reba, starring along side country western singer, Reba McEntire. Barbra Jean is the woman who marries and has a son with Reba's ex-husband, Brock
(Christopher Rich).
She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, actor John Brady, and son Riley.
